There will be a range of exciting dog activities and attractions at this year’s show both to watch and to participate in with your own dog. The Betley Dog Show includes both Pedigree and Non-pedigree classes and is open to all dogs on the day, please see the show schedule for details of classes.
Rosettes will be awarded to 5th place in each class with additional Best in Show and best Puppy rosettes.
The Wyche Dog Training Club based in Nantwich will be holding:
- Obedience Classes, which include those for dogs on or off the lead so come along and see how your dog completes the tasks and tests.
- Have-a-go Agility also on or off the lead so all dogs can try their skills around the course of jumps, tunnels and frames. You can visit the Clubs Facebook page at www.facebook.com/groups/wychedtc
The dog activities are kindly sponsored by Well-dogs Canine Hydrotherapy and Fitness Pool in Betley. The pool caters for dogs with orthopaedic conditions or for those wishing to increase health and fitness. HORSE ACTIVITIES AT THE SHOW
Horse Activities take place in the Mere Meadow. Sit on the grassy bank and watch Show jumping, Working Hunters, Retraining of Racehorses, Handy Pony and more. Classes start at 10.00 am with the Fancy Dress Parade during the afternoon in the Main Show Arena.
The horse show committee recommends that all horses and ponies attending the show are fully vaccinated.
